Is October a good time to visit Ethiopia?

October is a great month to visit Ethiopia. The rains have passed, and the temperatures are a pleasant 20°C, although overcast skies are still possible.

The campsites and lodges in the national parks are all open, and the conditions are great for hiking and trekking

Temperatures in the Danakil Depression begin to cool, and group tours to this region open up again. The access links to the Omo Valley should be clear.

Overall, October is a great month to visit the country, the scenery is incredible, but cloudy skies and intermittent rains are still very possible.
